Labor Notes describes themselves as “a media and organizing project that has been the voice of union activists who want to put the movement back in the labor movement since 1979.”

They offer a wide variety of media including books, magazines, and their website. They are also aggressive organizers who promote effective strategies for taking on the boss through “labor-community solidarity” and bottom up unions.

PM Press is an independent, radical publisher with a vast range of topics that includes a large Labor Studies section.
